Suspension Of Machine IQ Factory Installation Due To Supply Issues
As you were informed in a dedicated newsletter, there is a global shortage of computer chips resulting in a severe disruption to supplies. Bobcat has thus decided to suspend factory installation of Machine IQ units starting from 1st September until further notice. Limited quantities of Machine IQ kits are still available for order from Aftermarket.
Affected Machines
The shortage affects all currently produced machines equipped with telematics units produced after 1st September with the exception of the E10e electric excavator, which will continue to be fully Machine IQ ready from production.

Aftermarket Kits Range
Affected machines produced after 1st September are shipped as “Telematics Ready” with harnesses fitted in production.
To offer the most economic and easiest to install solution, new aftermarket kits were created containing all the necessary parts. These new kits don’t replace previously available aftermarket retrofit Machine IQ kits.
Please note that the quantity of telematics units available in stock is limited. Due to an unpredictable situation with the chip shortage, future delivery dates are unknown at the moment. We are working on securing a sufficient quantity of units and will inform dealers about the development in future newsletters.
Kits Installation
Aftermarket kits have the same functionality as factory fitted solutions and are straightforward to retrofit in your workshop.
